Applied Science are DJ Alkemy and Pun Ra. Their brand of Hip-Hop tinged with blues and rock influences is inimitable. Together and as solo artists, they have supported and worked with the likes of Tha Alkaholiks, Pharoahe Monch, The Mouse Outfit, Pitchshifter, Dr. Syntax & Pete Cannon, Taproot, Klashnekoff, Ugly Duckling, Skindred, Dub War, Grandmaster Flash, and many more.

Pun Ra has been writing, recording, and performing since early 1998. He brings dark poetic humour delivered in a raw, smokey style and voice. A solo artist in his own right with more than 15 years experience as a frontman and MC, he has performed with a variety of bands and a number of projects both in the US and the UK.

Together, they create a potent mix of highly charged beats with a side of belligerence, fun, and a general don’t give a f*** attitude.
